It features a handcrafted Tokoname kyūsu (teapot) with a distinctive flat form, paired with a Tokoname yunomi whose refined white interior highlights the tea’s color. A handmade yuzamashi from Shiga adds a gentle wabi-sabi presence with its softly shaded finish. A silver tea scoop, soft tea cloth, and finely woven bamboo mat complete the setting.

Tokoname is one of Japan’s Six Ancient Kilns renowned for fine red clay. The flat-style Kyūsu features a unique built-in ceramic strainer. The Yunomi, from an acclaimed potter, has a white interior to highlight the green hue of sencha.

Yuzamashi with wabi-sabi beauty

The yuzamashi (water-cooling vessel) is handmade in Kusatsu, Japan, using iron-rich clay sprayed with a unique blend of mud to create soft, shaded textures with organic, wabi sabi beauty that elevates your ritual.

Thoughtfully selected tools

The handcrafted silver Chami lets you appreciate sencha leaves before brewing. A soft chakin with a grey floral motif, paired with a finely woven bamboo mat, sets the stage for your ritual—inviting beauty and presence into the ritual.
