Welcome to Ode Ritual. This website is operated by Crunchbox Pte Ltd. These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of our website, and your purchase of products from us. By using this site, you agree to these terms in full.
As the Ode Ritual website is hosted in Singapore, all transactions on the website are governed by the laws of Singapore.
1. Products
All products listed on our website are offered while stocks last. We reserve the right to update or discontinue products based on supplier availability and inventory changes.
Descriptions are provided to the best of our knowledge, and we strive to ensure that all product information is accurate and complete. However, minor variations in color, material, or detail may occur due to natural differences in materials and screen settings.
2. Orders
Placing an order on our website signifies your acceptance of these Terms & Conditions. The order process consists of the following steps:
- Add items to your cart
- Enter billing and shipping details
- Choose your preferred shipping method
- Make payment
- Receive an order confirmation by email
You will be able to review and modify your order prior to final confirmation. Once submitted, we will send you a confirmation email to acknowledge receipt.
3. Price and payment
All prices are listed in your selected currency and do not include shipping, handling, or applicable taxes unless explicitly stated. Final charges (including applicable taxes, VAT for the EU, and shipping) will be calculated at checkout.
We accept payment securely via Shopify Payments, where all transactions are encrypted and processed. Ode Ritual does not store any credit card information.
For customers outside Japan: Please be aware that your country may charge import duties or customs fees. These are the responsibility of the customer.
For EU customers: VAT is collected at checkout via EAS Project to ensure compliance with local tax regulations. However, this does not include import duties or custom fees.
Discount codes must be applied at checkout and cannot be retroactively added to a confirmed order.
4. Shipping & delivery
Fulfilment & carriers
All orders are shipped from our fulfillment warehouse in Kyoto, Japan. Most orders are fulfilled within 3–5 business days (excluding weekends and holidays).
Shipping is available to most countries. If your country is not listed at checkout, please contact us directly.
Shipping options
We typically ship via FedEx express shipping, which typically takes around 2–5 business days to reach after orders are shipped out from our warehouse. However, exact delivery times may vary based on customs clearance and your location.
Shipping costs
Shipping fees depend on destination and products, and are calculated at checkout. Some remote area surcharges may apply for express courier services; we will contact you if this affects your order.
Tracking
Tracking information will be emailed once your order has been dispatched. You are responsible for monitoring delivery status and contacting the carrier for delivery issues once shipped.
Shipping address changes
If you need to change your shipping address, please contact us immediately. We can make changes only before the order has been dispatched. Once shipped, address change requests must be made through the shipping carrier and may incur additional fees.
Undeliverable parcels
If your parcel is returned to us due to failed delivery or incorrect address, we will contact you with the option to reship it. Re-shipping fees will be charged at actual cost.
5. Returns & cancellations
Cancellations
You may cancel your order and receive a full refund at any time before it has been dispatched. Please contact us at contact@oderitual.com as soon as possible. If your oder has been dispatched, please see points on Returns below.
Returns
If you are not satisfied with your order, you have 7 days after receiving it to request a return for exchange or refund. Contact us at contact@oderitual.com with your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, photos of the item(s), and the reason for return.
Items must be unused and in original condition in original protective packaging. Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility. Shipping charges and any applicable import tax and custom charges are not refundable.
Non-returnable items
Due to safety and hygiene considerations, we are unable to accept returns of food and consumable products such as tea and incense, unless:
- The product was damaged during shipping
- The product arrived after its expiry date
Please email us within 7 days upon arrival with your order number and clear photos if your item arrives damaged or expired.
Refunds
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method after receiving and inspecting the returned item(s). Refunds will exclude original shipping fees and applicable import tax and custom charges unless otherwise agreed.
6. Legal jurisdiction
This website is operated from Singapore and all terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore. In the event of any dispute, we will do our best to reach an amicable resolution. You can always contact us at contact@oderitual.com.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including images, text, product designs, and branding, is the property of Ode Ritual and Crunchbox Pte Ltd unless otherwise credited. Any reproduction, distribution, or use without prior written permission is strictly prohibited.
