Crafted for the quiet act of pouring water. Handcrafted in Japan.

Handcrafted in Kusatsu

Each piece is carefully handmade in Kusatsu, Shiga, by local artisans. With only a small number produced at a time, no two are exactly alike—each one a quiet expression of craft and care.

Wabi-Sabi aesthetic

With its organic form, soft shading, and natural texture, this piece reflects the wabi-sabi spirit—inviting a sense of stillness and appreciation for imperfection.

Made for the ritual

A Yuzamashi is used to cool boiled water before pouring it into a matcha bowl. This simple step not only protects the delicate flavor of matcha, but also adds intentional pause to your tea ritual.

Ode Ritual
