This flat-shaped kyūsu teapot is defined by its low, wide profile and understated form. While simple in appearance, the shape allows tea leaves to spread evenly during infusion, supporting a smooth, balanced brew.
Made from Tokoname clay—a blend of natural red and fired clay—the teapot carries a warm, earthy presence. A handmade ceramic mesh strainer (ceramesh) is carefully handmade and integrated into the body, allowing tea to filter gently while leaves open fully. Thoughtfully crafted for everyday use, the kyūsu invites a quiet, attentive tea moment.
